Ezra's Life

Ezra Pound was born in Hailey, Idaho in 1885. He was the child of Homer Loomis Pound and Isabel Pound. His father worked as a Federal Land Officer, and eventually had moved his family to Philly due to him recieving a job at the U.S Mint. He had a pretty normal childhood, playing outside while his two parents happily watched. Witht the support of his parents, the age of 15 is when Ezra decided he was going to be a poet.  He went to a military school for half of his high school career, then finished it at a local public school nearby. Pound went to the University of Pennsylvania, later transfered to the Hamilton College in Clinton, recieving a bachelor's degree in philosophy. After moving abroad, he had a daughter with violinist Olga Rudge, and the following year had a son with wife Dorothy. Pound's most famous work, The Cantos was seperated int many different works. Most of which noticed after his death in 1972. He published over 70 books, and helped with 70 others and wrote over 1500 articles in his lifetime.
